Annual Dues

Posted on Oct 4 2017 - 8:12pm

Dues at Pack 367 are $100 for the 2017/2018 program year. These dues are used to pay the cost of putting the Scouts through the program for an entire year and include specific costs for national registration, a new handbook, neckerchief, and neckerchief slide provided in May for the following program year, awards the Scouts earn, and administrative sosts.

Dues for registered adult adult leaders is $26 to cover the cost of national registration.

For current youth and adut members, the full amount of dues is to be submitted by Monday, November 6, 2017. Payment can be cash, checks (payable to "NHELC-Pack 367"), credit/debit cards via the online payment link on the left side of the home page, or from any credit in the Scout's Cub Account (balances can be viewed on Scout's account at ScoutBook.com).

Dues are important to the Pack by providing resources used to create an excellent Scouting experience for your son. However, if a personal situation makes it difficult to afford these dues, please approach one of the leaders to discuss other options available to the Pack. None of the leaders want to see a boy not experience scouting because of financial matters. All requests of this nature are handled with concern, respect, and complete confidentiality. By participating in fundraisers, your son may earn credit towards his dues.

Lion Cubs for Kindergarteners!

Posted on Sep 28 2017 - 9:30am

Watch a Video about Lion Cubs

LionsPack 367 is proud to announce that we will be continuing our participation in the Lion Pilot Program for Kindergarten aged boys; Last year, our pack was the only one within the Boyertown and Pottstown areas in Montgomery County that was selected to participate and the program went well with 10 boys participating.  Beginning in September, boys in Kindergarten (age 5 by 9/30/2017) may join the Lion pilot at Pack 367. Whether a younger brother of a member of Pack 367, or any pack or troop, or who is part of a family who has never experienced Scouting before, boys entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2017 can now experience what Scouting has to offer.

The Lion pilot is a family-oriented program. A boy and his parent or caring adult partner will join Scouting together. A group of six to eight boys and their adult partners will meet together in a group called a den. Dens will meet approximately twice per month. They will have fun participating in den meetings and outings while making memories together.

The Lion pilot will encourage boys to learn and explore through hands-on, high-energy activities. Adult partners will take turns leading a den meeting or outing during the year. Most meetings will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour; outings may be slightly longer.

If you have questions, or if you know a boy entering Kindergarten who would like to see what Cub Scouts is all about, please forward this email to his parents or email lioncubs@pack367.com or call Cubmaster, Jim Atkins (267-228-9940) or Committee Chair, Andy Van Dyke (610-906-2220).
