Hoagie Sale Assembly - Saturday, December 9; 8:00 AM

Posted on Dec 4 2017 - 8:51am

Hoagies!

We will be assembling hoagies on Saturday morning, December 9th at 8:00am.  If you sold hoagies, you are expected to come and help make them before you take the hoagies you sold and deliver them to your customers.  The Cub Scouts will work side by side with the older Boy Scouts and parents to make hundreds of hoagies in just a couple hours.  If this is your first time participating in one of our hoagie sales, please understand that you will need to wait until all hoagies are made and sorted into orders before you can take yours to be delivered.  We are usually finished by 10:30-11:00, please plan accordingly.

Christmas Caroling - Monday, December 11 6:30 Start

Posted on Dec 4 2017 - 8:42am

We will be going to the Manatawny Manor for Christmas Caroling on Monday, December 11.  We are scheduled to begin to "roam" the halls and sing to the residents door to door.  The lyrics of a selection of familiar traditional Christmas Carols will be provided.  This is a family event, so parents are encouraged to stay and feel free to bring siblings!

Please bring a small snack to share after caroling; hot chocolate will be provided by the pack.

Christmas Party - Monday, December 18

Posted on Dec 4 2017 - 8:41am

The December Pack Meeting will be a Christmas Party! Wear Class A Uniforms!

If you wish to have your son participate in the gift exchange, please have him bring a small wrapped gift appropriate for his own age.  We suggest no more than $5-$10.  Do not put any names on the gift.  Each den will take a turn to sit in a circle and pass the gifts around until music stops, then they open the gift they have.

Santa will be stopping by with a special gift for each of the Scouts.  We will also be sharing in Christmas snacks and holiday cheer; please bring a small snack to share - the pack will provide drinks.

Lion Cubs for Kindergarteners!

LionsPack 367 is proud to announce that we will be continuing our participation in the Lion Pilot Program for Kindergarten aged boys; Last year, our pack was the only one within the Boyertown and Pottstown areas in Montgomery County that was selected to participate and the program went well with 10 boys participating.  Beginning in September, boys in Kindergarten (age 5 by 9/30/2017) may join the Lion pilot at Pack 367. Whether a younger brother of a member of Pack 367, or any pack or troop, or who is part of a family who has never experienced Scouting before, boys entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2017 can now experience what Scouting has to offer.

The Lion pilot is a family-oriented program. A boy and his parent or caring adult partner will join Scouting together. A group of six to eight boys and their adult partners will meet together in a group called a den. Dens will meet approximately twice per month. They will have fun participating in den meetings and outings while making memories together.

The Lion pilot will encourage boys to learn and explore through hands-on, high-energy activities. Adult partners will take turns leading a den meeting or outing during the year. Most meetings will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour; outings may be slightly longer.

If you have questions, or if you know a boy entering Kindergarten who would like to see what Cub Scouts is all about, please forward this email to his parents or email lioncubs@pack367.com or call Cubmaster, Jim Atkins (267-228-9940) or Committee Chair, Andy Van Dyke (610-906-2220).
